Anyone have mellow yellow with white roof and white wheels??

Still waiting for my MY/B baby! For me, there was no other colour consideration than MY. Yellow is my favourite colour and I am replacing one yellow car with another. I have had way too much fun with my 2003 Ford Focus (Egg Yolk Yellow). Just being next to a mini makes me that much happier!

Totally agree, today I drove my MY Cooper to gas station, and it caught so many people attention. I am glad made the right decision between Chilly Red and Mellow yellow when I ordered it. I am not saying Chilly red bad, actually every color that MINI carry are all fantistic, but just for myself, I can't take my eyes off when I first saw MYC motoring on the high way.

By the way, does anyone owns or had seen Coopers with JCW areo kits installed and happen to have photo can share with me? I am thinking getting it, the dealer quote me $2700 including labor cost. Is it about right price?

 

Heres a few I want the JCW kit too but Ill have to save up. The quote you got is that including painting and install?

 

Do a search for Mellow Yellow, there is one that always comes up with black wheels.

Mine (MY/B with Aero kit) just got off the trailer at the dealership - I'll post some pics after I replace the wheels and get the window's tinted.

 

That is exactly what I did! I had a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 in egg yoke yellow and I've upgraded to a mellow yellow MCS. I get to see my old Focus everyday though - My neighbor has it now!

 

First I wanna thanks for all of you who posted that amazing picture of MCS with JCW kit installed. But maybe I didn't make it clear that what I wanted to take the reference is the COOPER (none-S) with Areo kit.

I personally own MC, and wanted to install JCW areo kit, but don't know if this set will be looked good on it. I searched all the website, seems only MINI offical website in Taiwan has two snap shots of COOPER with JCW. Unfortunetly, it werent that clear.

But still, those pictures you guys provided are fantastic.

 

OKAY, let me answer my own question.
I just found that MINI release series of JCW accessories including interior and exterior. Below are the pictures I found with MINI COOPER(non S) with JCW Kit

Minor alterations to this (yellow scoop, no driving lights, non-tinted windows) are acceptable only in a "what if" scenario.

Btw, I am looking for the perfect set of black wheels/polished lip, to install on this baby. Any more out there with that combo, other than the ones posted earlier? I am starting to settle into some of the styles, I'm just not sure I have seen them all.

I know most of you here got the mellow yellow. I'm considering getting an MCS and I really like the MW color. How is it day to day? Am I gonna get laughed at? Does the color look good in person? i was thinking black roof and stripes

The other color I'm considering is Laser Blue.
