I'm still waiting to see my first Mellow Yellow car besides mine. I had a special order but apparently they ran out of the University of Oregon green for the roof by the time mine went through the shop.

There's just something about Mellow Yellow!!!!

Minidrvr, mine also looks like yours and it is brand new week 2 2008. Maybe it is just how they do the MY builds?

 

The other MY builds at my dealer didn't have the problem or I would have thought the same thing. On the driver side the lower half has good paint with clear on it and then it fades off to that greenish primer.

 

I would never have noticed it had you not brought it up. They still look yellow unless you look very closely. Should I take a pic of mine?

 

Sure. I haven't been able to find any that look like mine does. It should be finished today at the body shop and back by the weekend hopefully.

 

I love that color. I purchased a 07 about a month ago and want the discount and options they throw in so I didn't have a choose on color. I like my Laser Blue, however I like the yellow and peper white better. Maybe my next one will be one of those colors.

 

I almost got Laser Blue. I made a trip back to my dealer (86 miles) just to stare at the LB in person. Also nearly got the pepper white. By the time I was going back and forth on the color between those 2 and yellow, it was too late and the car was in production.

Anyone have pictures of a MY/B MINI with a chrome blackout with/or joey mod? I'm looking to buy a new MINI in the near future, and I'm trying to narrow down the options... there are just so many.

you can just take a picture of your mini with a digital camera and then upload it if you dont have a digital camera you can use a regular film one and just scan it on to your computer.

 

I too would like to join the MY owner's club. Got Steeler a couple weeks ago and have a great time. No pics yet, want to me-ify Steeler a little before I immortilize him.

Glad to be part of the MINI community. One question. . .how do you get one of those kewl badges? Cut and paste in signature?
