Introducing Zeppelin! R56 MCS DS/B

It has finally happended, I got the call from my MA and have picked up my car!

As everyone else has said a hundred times on this board, the car is absolutely amazing! I am extremely pleased and cannot wait to drive each and every day!

Without further delay, here is Zeppelin! (named after Led Zeppelin and what was playing in the car when I first listended to the stereo)

Front View in front of my House:

Side View:

This next picture shows the functional hood scoop and I also wanted to post this and some members have had concerns about color matching and if it's normal or not. As you can see in the pic, the color matches perfectly!

From behind

Interior Shot - Anthracite Headliner and Rooster Red Color Line Only Interior options. Griffin TuneFlex also pictured:

A good respresentation of the Dark Silver color:

Door open, ready to leave the dealer!

That's all for now! Now to get through the break-in and start the mods!

If anyone has a link to a high quality version of the Dark Silver Owners Club Icon, I'd really like to replace the On Order tag I'm currently sporting!

Congrats. Almost the same as mine, which is 2 months old. I just finished a two hour drive with sport button on and music blaring. Have fun.

I don't understand. Did you just pop the grille out, or do somthing else? Why wouldn't the color match?

Nice accent on the color line. Very tasteful.

Actually it is just a dark picture. The grill is there, but as mentioned by others every other honeycomb in the grill is cut off to allow for air flow into the engine bay. I know on earlier builds the entire grill was sealed off.

As for the color matching, there was a user who posted with a pure silver mini that his hood scoop didnt match and people were suggesting it was due the difference in material of the hood scoop and the bonnet. I wanted to post showing that the color does match and should be no reason it does not.

Ty for the compliment. While waiting for my car I would randomly check out yours and Mach V's MINI to prep me for mine!

Congrats!! Very nice looking car! I like the wheels in combination with the color scheme. The interior is very nice, too. Have a great time breaking it in and enjoy the experience.

thank you for all the kind words. 3 days so far and I am so very pleased! I cannot wait to get past the break-in :P

Time to research what few mods are out there, although I really don't want to mod too much without gauges first.
