i'm down here in the central FL in sunny orlando. Yea, it's an awesome car to say the least. I was cleaning it this weekend and noticed that in the inner wheel wells theres like a carpeted/felt type material. weird! Oh well, the dirt/sand washed right off.

Many early european cars used pressed felt for wheel liners because it was cheap, durable, light and easily maintained. It's the onset of cheap steel that made it go out of fashion with manufacturers.

Your car's a great looker. Congrat's and Happy Motoring!
