You didn't get the brakelight flasher?! It's cool.

No go

I received my Glovebox Tidy last week and put it in this weekend. Sorry, but I'm disappointed. The manual pouch will not fit under it, per pictures in earlier posts. Are we supposed to take everything out of it to make it fit? The back piece was not glued on very well and was detached when I received it.

I like the fact that there is a place for an iPod, etc., but I think the design and execution need work.

To be fair and balanced with Go Mini Go, I was very pleased with the design and execution of the no-holes front license plate holder.

dmeadow - you have a PM.

Speaking of iPod area. I am surprised no one has asked about the little foam carrier. no interest?

I received my glove box organizer last Thursday. It's simple and straight forward. Anyone with the time, tools, and skills could make one. I have the skills, but neither the time or tools to work w/plastics, so buying one was my only option.

Although the design is simple, the added shelving is functional. I'm not sure why the poster above couldn't fit his owner's manual pouch in the small area on the bottom shelf, mine fits just fine (I did remove one of the booklets that I don't need in the car).

All in all, worth the money.. I can't believe how easily 'stuff' falls out w/o one.
Kudos to Go Mini for making innovative items for R56 Minis!

The GBT is a great product! Went right in, fits great, and makes the once useless glovebox space useful! Shipping was fast too. I can't think of any reason why you would have a Mini and not get one. And no, I don't work for the company lol. This product just kicks ***.

Ok, Sowellman, it looks like you are one of the few. Since the NRE, on this little beast is expensive. Or more than I want to spend for amount of people that are interested. I can tell you how to make one. Give me a day or two to get things together.

Sowellman and others,

Here it is, the DIY for the iPod holder!

http://www.images.gominigo.com/GMG-ipod-holder.pdf

It took a little longer to get done because of external issues. This is really simple and should take very little time. You will probably spend more time looking for the foam piece.

I tried to make this as simple as I could. However, if you have comments that might help others, let me know. I will incorporate into the instructions.

Thx!

Sorry to dig this thread out of the grave, but GoMiniGo doesn't seem to be offering their glove box tidy alternative to the OEM organizer anymore.
Does anyone know of a current product for R55-R59 glove boxes better than the crappy OEM one?
I have a 2009 R55 JCW.
