R56 Missing screws on top of engine

Missing screws on top of engine
Does anyone have a clue why there are two brass colored threaded holes on top of the engine? Seems like there should be screws in them...

They're not missing, but just not used for our application.

That's where the funnel bolts up that connects the open hood scoop to the airbox on the JCW stage II kit!

maybe its for the plasma synthesis particle accelerator that will be a new option for 2015

Mine has the JCW flux capacitor and the wiring for the lightning rod.
