Meet Rigby

Arrived at my MA today. I will pick it up on Friday. This is the first car they have had come in with the Hyper Sport / Aero Package. Little strange the way they end the wheel arches with a sharp, horizontal line, but it will work out perfect for me as I plan on painting the black arches body color, and with this configuration, I will only need to paint 4 pieces. (The car still has the shipping foam in the suspension, hence the 4x4 look). More pictures by the week end.

Well, this is the first time I think I've heard someone actually buy the hypersport package since most seem to dislike the looks. Honestly, it's prob because of how abrupt the black wheel arches end on the kit like u say. But after seeing yours and visioning what it'd look like painted white as you plan on doing, I'd say it won't be as bad as people have been saying. I plan on getting the JCW kit myself on a PW/B MCS later this year since I prefer the look on that kit. When you get those arches painted, post some pics again. Would really like to see those after photos.

Lovely car. Although the red racing stripe below the driver's door looks out of place.

Congratulations on your beautiful car. I can empathize with your feelings about the hypersport aero kit. Our car also has the Hypersport kit and the arches are being painted prior to delivery, hopefully by this Friday.

Thanks guys ! Looking forward to Friday(my day off) to pick up the new car. First stop will be my shop to install the BBS wheels/Michelins Pilots, and my new shortie antenna(Fastmini.net ). Have an appointment next Tuesday for window tinting, and then I hope to get the fender flares ready for paint in the next couple weeks.
The FUN begins !

that's what it looks like with the aero kit (unpainted arches)?! looks a little whacky to me ... what is MINI thinking leaving them unpainted?!

maybe somehow you can paint the chrome surround on the headlights as well as the grille too.... it would look great!

First off I have to thank the Guys at Mini of Peabody. Very nice people to deal with. The people at Mini of Peabody are truly Mini enthusiasts. Highly reccommend giving them a call for your next Mini purchase. Ordered mine April 27th, and picked it up today. Doesn't get much better then that. They also installed my two-tone steering wheel for me. From there, I went straight to my shop and installed the wheels and tires, installed my antenna, and put 100 miles on it this afternoon/tonight. I love the way it drives and once I have the motor broken in,it will only get better. Thanks for the compliments.

Just picked it up from Sublime Restorations today(http://www.sublimerestorations.com/index.html) . They did a fantastic job. Next week I'll install the H & R springs to get this thing "in the weeds".

Very nice! I was wondering what that kit would look like when the arches were painted.

Great color choice! :D
