NEW Mini Owner!

I just purchased my first Mini S yesterday. I've driven the old R53 Mini S before and loved it. After my test drive in the new R56, I was impressed with the new engine. Unfortunately, I bought the car off the lot and did not customize my Mini. It had pretty much everything I was looking for though. It didn't, however, have the clear signal lights. So I was wondering how hard/easy or if even possible would it be to change out the amber signals to clear? Can I buy the signals at the dealer and install? Would that cost an arm and leg? Thanks!

Arm, leg, maybe more. The lights are sold as an assembly. Might be able to mod, but it will be expensive, I am sure.
Welcome to NAM. Congrats on the ride. Pics sometime soon, ok!

I did not order this option on my cooper and now I wonder if I should? Is it really worth it? does anyone have close up pics with this option installed? If it's that expensive to install later, now is the time to consider. I clearly have too much time on my hands and all the oportunity in the world to nit pick my order to death, so far I have not changed anything.

amazingrando, I would be amazed if your car is not already built and on a boat by now. I ordered mine on 5/5/07, and mine is already built and on the Falstaff and has been traversing the waters for 2+ days now.

In reply to your post, this could be good or bad news I dunno which! :D

I live in the northwest where wait times are MUCH longer...hence my incessant whining There are only 2 mini dealers up here. I was told I will get my car end of august/early sept. so be it.
