i found out Skuzzy's MINI was arriving today from the detailing forum.... seems i've missed all the whining!

can't wait to see the pics. it's so cool to remember back to Oct. when i couldn't wait for my MINI to arrive.

I was just thinking, earlier today, that when Skuzzy gets his car we will probably never hear from him again.

Just drove by Moritz MINI...the lights were out and no emergency vehicles. That means that Skuz did, against all odds, physically survive delivery of his MINI. So did the dealership, apparently. I will say it is a beautiful night here...prime motoring weather. I predict that Skuzzy will probably sleep in the garage tonight...if not, I can almost guarantee he will seriously think about it!

 

He's probably all cuddled up right next to the MINI ready for the night so every 15 minutes he can wake up and see that the car is real.

Although...as excited as he was, he might just be motoring and then washing, claying, polishing, and waxing the night away

Ours will almost have the same delivery date If all goes well and it doesn't take too long to install the iPod adapter, I should be able to pick mine up tomorrow.

Ok, this is incredibly wonderful of you guys and gals. I am honored.

Yes, I have Romi. She is safe in the garage right now resting from a long night of motoring. Had to take her around to the family and show her off.

Lemme tell you. She is absolutely gorgeous. I also went by a local "Happy Hour West" MetroplexMini.org get together. That was a hoot. All these Mini's in the parking lot all lined up.

As we were waling into the place, a guy was standing outside tlaking on his cell phone, and all I heard was, "..there's,...there's all these Mini's!! I have no idea why? They just keep coming and comng!!".

I should have told him they are not 'coming' anywhere. They are motoring about! My face is sore from smiling soooo much last night. Everytime I walk up to her, I just start smiling and it does not stop until I have to park her and leave her alone! Darndest thing.

Ok, I know I should have had my pics ready, but it was wy dark when I got home. So I am waiting until the sun comes up here in a little bit. Then I will post my pics. I need to make sure Romi did not get any dirt or stuff on her from last night.

She would never forgive me if I posted pictures of her dirty. Heck, I would never forgive me!

Good luck MiniMademoiselle! You are not going to believe the rush it is to finally see your baby and be able to take her home!! Well,...unless you really do have kids.
