Well poop. Windows XP is not seeing my camera for some reason. I have pics, but cannot get them from the camera. The Wife is taking the camera to work and try getting them off using her computer there.

Then she will email them to me so I can post them. ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

 

I'm sure the baby book already has 100s of pics. It would probably be easier to put them on photobucket, flickr, etc. You've been granted a short grace period.

 

Soon.. promise. Whne technology works, it is really cool, but when it gets all furbared it truly sucks!! ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!! I WANT TO SHOW OFF MY BABY!!!

And not in a Michael Jackson sort of way either.

 

wouldn't that be fubarred? fubared seems to imply something all together different.

Yea, we need a reminder on this (be prepared for further Skuzzy insanity everyone! )
We will of course expect progress reports!

 

It is a little cosmoline run-off on the black plastic. That will be gone this weekend after I detail her.

Initlally, I will be replacing the speakers with a set of Focal speakers.

Then shortly after that I will be adding a rear sway bar.

Then I will have a replacement Mini chevron for the bonnet finished. It will look similar to the stock Mini emblem, but will be made of aluminum, polished and have 'Romi" in the middle instead of "Mini". I know glass blower who can fill the center for me.

Then I will be air brushing in the constellation Andromeda on the roof.

I have more plans, but that is a good list to start with. And I will post progress pics and how-to's as I go along. And, of course, I will be whining every step of the way.

 

Skuzz...isn't the sun up by now? Where are you living? South Pole? Come on pickies...where are they?

Thanks Skuzzy....she's gorgeous! Were you getting the bonnet stripes too? I've ordered the bonnet stripes on mine and was anxious to see what they looked like!

I think it just eased my anxiety a little knowing that you've got Romi...but now I'm waiting for Muse to arrive....She'll get hers before I get mine...

Funny thing, I'm thinking about Winnie...and thinking I might want to change the name to Willow Offgood....any suggestions/feedback?

 

I have the HiFi. I'll do a full how-to on the installation.

No, I did not want the bonnet stripes as they are vinyl. I'll be air brushing a custom set of stripes on Romi myself. I have a couple of designs laid out, just need to make some pics and see what looks best.

On the name here is how it works (or should work). I had a couple of names picked (just like you would for any new born). When I saw her, 'Romi' came out of my mouth. You will know if the name is right the first time you see your baby.
