whats the most commob color combo and whats the rarest?

 

Most common? LB with white bonnet stripes and roof or CR with white bonnet stripes and roof.
Rarest? A Cooper in pink, I suppose!

 

I see more PW/B than PW/PW

 

isn't it a bit early to tell?

 

today i swear i saw a PW/W R53. was that combo offered? maybe it was aftermarket ... but i've never seen that before.

 

I saw an R53 with that color combo yesterday and I think someone in the 2006 forum posted some photos of their PW/PW. It looks really nice in person. I think the rarest at this point is the Nightfire Red MC. I think there might still be only 1 in the US with that combo but others are on the way and should be here in a week or so.

 

Rare? If we're not talking R56-only then Silk Green Coopers. The most rare, imo, is a PS or PW Cooper with black bumper strips...you'll see very few of those!! For R56, Oxygen Blue...I've still not seen one.

 

i agree -- i saw a PW/PW with sunroof which looked really nice. (the black sunroof making a great contrast. but the car i originally posted about was a PW with pure white roof! it must have been aftermarket ... i didn't think MINI offered that. (at least the configurator doesn't allow it!)

 

I went to a Scottsdale rally the day before I bought my SS/Tuscan. 60 or so cars, mostly R50/53s of course. I can tell you the 2 blues and red are by far the most common colors, with black interiors of course. Lots of bonnet stripes in white.

 

At the Dragon, I saw a Cooper in one of the colours that was "S"-only in the United States (Indi Blue, perhaps?)

 

the new MINI has been out since 2001-2002. early?

in my area red/black is most common and gold, velvet red or silk green is least common.

 

Maybe Electric Blue!!

 

If you're a Canadian and you've got an EB Cooper.. I've only seen one and it is XIEK's on here.

(had to look up my Mini brochure to decode all these color abbrs.. LOL!!)

 

Hope to have mine in a couple of weeks. For now, all I have is my Sig to look at.

 

I would go with the Silk green with Green interior. That or for around here the GOLD mini's. Now thats Factory colors. Aftermarked would be the PINKS or Hip Hugger Orange.

 

Seeing that this thread is in the 2007+ section, yeah it is. If we're talkin 2001 to present, I'll agree with ya.

 

Velvet red w/ or w/out white roof would probably make it into the rare color combo.

 

on the rare note: I tried to talk my MA into letting me order my S in Nightfire Red but she said there was no chance... :(

 

The R56 Cooper-only colors are going to be a rare sight on cabrios.
