Got you all beat! I waited 2 whole days. Ordered on a Saturday, picked up my new MINI on a Tuesday

Ordered on 04/28, in production 05/01, finished today (05/08). Hopefully, it will be on a ship by the weekend.

 

hmmm don't know if you will feel the same pleasure as us...see teh more you wait the more you get to know MINI..and understand it's inner workings...we here who have waited understand the very fabrc of MINI...
so when we finally get it its like a big pleasurable sigh...(to not say something else)
i liek delaying pleasure it makes the moment that much better...

 

Took about 5 weeks. Ordered 3/25 and picked up 4/30.

 

3/24 order. Sept maybe?????

 

Ordered 3/23 still no firm production date...week 23-25! Not very happy with my CA right now.

 

I ordered on April 7th. It got to the VDC on April 30. It is in limbo right now.. somewhere between VDC and the dealer. So I'm on 32 days.

 

I need a cold shower after that.

Here, this will make you all feel better:

Placed a deposit during the first week of August. Finalized the specs during the first week of January. Went into production during week 5 (first week of February). Shipped out the first week of March. Picked up in Seattle April 5th.

Sooo... from deposit to delivery: 8 months.

From final specs to delivery: 13 weeks.

All in all... it was worth the wait!!!

March 7-order accepted in UK
March 22-build began
April 25-US arrival
May 9th-pickup

 

I'm in Portland, OR. Ordered my cooper s at the beginning of May...I HAVE A 4 MONTH LONG WAIT!!!! But it will be worth it. I just returned from San Francisco today, there seem to be a lot more mini's on the road than here in Portland.
