Does anyone have access to the pdf installation instructions for the LCI R55 JCW tuning kit? I’m interested in the installation location of the front and rear JCW badges for the kit.

Those are from the R55 Clubman tuning kit instructions? The rear badge sheet looks like R53?

 

On a works Clubman the JCW badge goes on the passenger side barn door, in place of the Cooper S badge

 

I know the factory JCW cars had the JCW badge there, I was under the impression that the JCW badge for the dealer installed tuning kit went below it. I would like to get the spacing correct.

Also, the front dealer kit badge went on the upper grill, and the factory JCW cars had the front badge in the lower grill. Again, I'd like to make sure I get the spacing correct.

 

Thats what was on the tuning kit PDF from MINI.

Yes they did not have a shot of the R55 rear.

Boo. Yes, I've seen pictures of the kit emblem on the back door, but was hoping there was factory guidance for placement. I guess I'll just have to eyeball it for best position.

 

Ok, yea. For some reason the document does not show an R55. I would just eye it up. At least you got the front grille location.

 

Yes! I also find it curious, I always thought the front badge went on the other side of the grill....

Front badge installed. Unfortunately, only one of the trim nuts was able to be installed. Not sure if the JCW aero grill is thinner than the S grill. Hopefully it stays put with just the one nut holding it on.

Decided to replace the "MINI" wings logo on the back. I think it mimics the logo placement on the R53/56 rear end, even though I don't have a MINI logo in the upper middle of the rear doors.

 

It would be great to have such a manual on hand. The PDF format would be ideal. But if there is another electronic format, you can use the AVIF to JPG Converter https://pdfguru.com/avif-to-jpg as it supports a wide range of formats. I often need the PDF format because it’s more convenient for work. I like that this online tool processes images up to 100 MB, which is very handy.
