I've got a 2010 R55 N14 Turbo and well, was hoping for some info/advice. It's my first turbo car and I'm not too well versed on buying components/tampering with turbos and the like. Basically, I'm wanting to get the signature fwoosh of a turbo blow off but, I have /no/ idea what my options are for achieving that. I know you can buy blow off valves of some sort for a decent chunk of money (around $200 is what I've been seeing). Are there cheaper alternatives? I had seen something about adapters for older models that just bolt to the diverter-valve assembly and dump the air instead of recycling back to the turbo. Sadly, none for my year.

TL;DR I want fwooshy go fast noises without having to throw a bunch of money at my car. (I know, I own a mini. Throwing money at cars is what we do)
