Greetings.

Last week I decided to plug in my new scanner and found the following issues:

FRM2 Footwell module 2 fault 2
A8A8/not present FRM Highbeam turn off light left faulty
A8AA/not present FRM dipped beam left faulty

I've been all over the car and I do not see any issues with any of the bulbs. Might these error messages be from previous owner? Everything was fine until tonight.

Tonight I started the car and received a headlight warning logo and the little red triangle. After about 15 minutes of driving it went away. I ran the scanner when I got home and those three messages are still on there. All the bulbs look great.

Very strange! Anyone else have these issues?

Check with MINI as there are many Gen 2 cars that have an extended warranty on the footwell module so you may be able to get it replaced for free.
