Hey everyone, I'm new here to this site so my apologies if someone already wrote about this! I know about the famous waste gate valve sound that the minis have on cold start but has anyone ever experienced a sort of flapping sound coming from what sounds like underneath the car? After I turn the car on and I let it drop in idle the care seems to make that flapping sound until fully warmed up! Couple of my buddies said to get it checked out. Lemme know what you think!

 

I have had that sound before, I changed the oil as soon as possible and it went away. It was shortly after I had bought the car so my thinking was that the previous owner was neglecting her a little bit.
