Vibration 2014 Clubman S

Looking for anyone that may have experienced this in their Clubman, or might have any Ideas of what is going on. This vibration begins at about 62 to about 66 MPH, you can feel it the hole car it generally smooths out past 66 MPH. The biggest problem I have, is that you can feel it in your ears. Example, you know when you roll down your window part way and you experience that reverberation effect and it goes away immediately when you crack the other window. This is what I'm experiencing with the windows up. I took it to Mini the other day because I originally thought it might have something to do with the tires, they looked at me like I was crazy and said nothing was wrong with the car. The tires are the Continental Contact run flats about 50% used. The alignment was checked and the tires were rotated and balanced.

I would ask someone to put your tires on a balancing machine and look for a little "wobble" in one of the wheels. One could be slightly bent. This happened to me. I took the car in for a rotation and balance and had the thing back three times in one week to have them re-balance one tire. Finally, one of the techs took me back and showed me the bend while the wheel was on the balancing machine. It was very slight and invisible to inspection when the wheel wasn't turning.

So did you experience reverberation effect I was explaining? I noticed when they balanced one of the wheels they weighted it pretty heavily.

The fact that you can 'drive' out of it sounds like tire/wheel issue. Keep at it with them or try a Tire Dealer for a second opinion since they are often keener on this type of problem.

I agree it is probably the tires. That has been hunch all along. I'm going to replace them in a few months with some non runflats.

Should be a pretty straight forward balance issue.

Sorry, I just saw this now. No reverberation, just an annoying, slight, vibration at around 70 MPH. I actually sold the wheels to a friend of mine who uses them on his R53 with no complaints. So maybe I'm just too sensitive. But the wheel is slightly out of round on the inside.

So after discovering I had a pice of glass in the side wall I decided to purchase new tires instead of replacing the one tire. I got Bridgestone Potenza Pole Postions, they are awesome!!! Come to find out my rear tires (Contnetals)had a slight hope to them and that's what was causing my problem. I highly recommend these tires they made a world of difference. They are very quiet! The steering wheel turns with much less resistance and they handel phenomenally!
