Leaking windshield? Not the drain tube!

I have been going on and on through the forums trying to find an answer for this and have yet to find one. I have a 09 Clubman with about 50k miles on it. For about a year now I have noticed a little bit of water running behind the rearview mirror but nothing I really cared too much to investigate. About 2 years ago I had the entire sunroof replaced (glass, seals, rails, motor, etc) because it was not opening and closing properly. I haven't had any issues until recently.

About 3 days ago I noticed my entire dashboard and passenger floorboards were flooded with water. My headliner was also wet on the right passenger side. Today I took apart the side of the door and checked the drain tubes. They are connected correctly and when I pour water into the area, on both sides, the water drains properly. I poured water across the front of my windshield and no water drained in either.

Could this possibly be my windshield that needs to be resealed? And if so, why wouldn't water leak in just now when I poured water all inside of my sunroof and on top of the windshield? It is driving me nuts and the $132 charge from Mini to check out the situation is not something I want to pay if it's easily fixable myself.

Thanks!

Have you ever had the wind shield replaced? From the amount of water getting in I would definitely have a glass company check the windshield seal before you fry some electronics.

I have not had it replaced..

..from what I know. I purchased the car used at about 15k. I did get my insurance to do a glass claim on it and they are replacing all the seals along with the headliner and crowl grilles to ensure no water gets in anywhere. Hopefully that works. Thank you for he suggestion.
