This weekend I was cruising and all of a sudden the car stated surging and I could feel the engine stuttering a lot. after about 15 min of this the Check Engine light came on and a min later all seemed OK.
The next day the light was Off. all seemed ok, no symptoms.
I went to AutoZone, there was two codes.
P1338 ( Camshaft Position sensor bank 1 open circuit/short to B+) and
P0342 (Camshaft position sensor A, circuit low input B1).
FYI about 2 years ago I had the Camshaft sensor replaced for a similar code.

Well I called the Dealer.....
Extended Warranty expired last month. The SA said since it cleared on its own all should be OK. also said it could be from Carbon buildup, Bad Gas, too much oil or serious issues too scary to repeat. Wow!!

I mentioned Service Bulletin S1-12-01-10 (NHTSA 10036977) he said this was only related to an S not "justa" mini (non-turbo)
He said if it reoccured bring it in for a by the hour charge.
Opinions?
anyone have a similar issue or advise for me?
I only have 41K miles.
