Aftermarket Stereo Issue

I own a 2009 Clubman. Last year in october I completely replaced the Audio system in it, stereo and everything. I have only had one problem on my touch screen stereo it doesnt want to store the settings. After a certain amount of time the car is off it will reset the settings. Any idea on why?

Sounds like the constant power wire was hooked up to a powered circuit that kills the power when the car "sleeps". Similar to how I hooked up to a purple wire for my radar detector near the sunroof control switches. My radar detector wakes up and does its start-up sequence when I unlock the car. After I leave the car and let it sit for ~20 minutes the power to the circuit is killed and the radar shuts off.
