When I opened the barn doors, there is a small slit that runs across the top of the car between the roof and the weather strip. I noticed some surface rust and paint bubbling on rights side corner. Has anyone else come across this issue? Maybe it was a factory defect with the paint job out of the factory? I wash and wax this car regularly in the summer, and in the Winter I take it to a touchless car-wash, so I was very surprised when I noticed this one day.

My SA is going to follow up with BMW to see if they will cover it, so we'll see what they say.
