MINI of The Woodlands offered to try the Good Will repair route with MINI USA, but I hated to use my one time only Good Will repair. (Saving that for the timing chain) I have mechanical breakdown coverage on my auto insurance policy from GEICO. Bumper to bumper to 100,000 miles with only a $250 deductible. $3,400 clutch and flywheel replacement for $250. Definitely worth the $72/ year mechanical breakdown premium!
