Hello from sunny SA

Hi,

Great forum, have been browsing for a while and have learnt alot already.
I am from South Africa, and have a 2010 Cooper S Clubman.

Am going to be adding a set of Hella Black Magic driving lights and plastidip the chrome bits on the front end. After that will tackle a small sound upgrade

Here is a pic with our Qashqai, and after a wash

Was considering changing the car for something else, but couldn't think of anything I really wanted that would be such a blast to drive on the daily commute to work.
So extended the plan for another year and did some minor stuff on it for now.

Quad setup done

On the audio side I have changed the stock speakers for a 4" Nakamichi and a 6" Rockford .
Getting some bad clipping in the front on higher volumes which i need to look at. Have balanced it out with the rear speakers for now. Stock headunit output is very weak.

And have these to put in behind the back seats. Need to get around to doing that.

ZA_Clubman - Do you see many MINIs down in SA ? Wondering how many are down there. I know the regional MINI SA manger for down there is now the MINIUSA Product Manager.

Hi, the MINI's are quite common here.

The R50/52/53 not so much ie. you wouldn't see one every day but there are plenty around. There are a few clubman's running around, but not as popular as the R56.

The R56/R58 and F56 I see quite a few everyday on my commute.

There is also quite a big classic mini following here.
