Post H&R Install Pics

Finally got the suspension work done that I've been putting off for so long. H&R Streets and a 22mm Alta rear bar. Handling and ride are greatly improved.

That stance is about as good as it gets right there. How would you say the ride and handling have improved? Can you give us more detail?

It looks like Bill doesn't check the site very often so I'll chime in. He and I both did the install at the same time/same shop/same cars (2009 JCW Clubmans).

I love the new suspension. I had the sport suspension prior and the H&R Street Performance coil overs are a dramatic improvement. The car corners flats, absorbs the bumps, and recovers from harsh bumps much better. The overall ride is a huge improvement.

Two things I'd want others to be aware of. H&R claims these coil overs have a range from .75-1.75" front and .6-1.75" rear. This is absolutely not the case. Both Bill and I are running full ride height on the front and the drop was about 1.25". Don't get me wrong, I love the stance I just want people to be aware. The rear is pretty much full ride height as well.

There is also a slight vibration under hard acceleration felt in the steering wheel, likely attributed to coil overs in general due to design and how they're connected to the car. You just feel the drive train more.

Unfortunately all I have is a crappy phone picture of a filthy car. I'll post better pictures after I install my R105s for the spring/summer.
