Rain sensing windows?

Okay, I'll admit that it's possible that I'm nuts.

BUT.

On Monday, it had been warm here in NC, so the car was a little stuffy while I was out at lunch. I had cracked the sunroof while I was driving around, but when I parked back at work, I closed the roof, but cracked the windows by about 3/8" or slightly less. I know that if you have the driver's door window slightly open, the system that lowers the windows when you open and close the door will occasionally not recognize that you want the window open, and it will close the window. But in this instance, I'm >90% certain that when I walked away from the car, the windows were cracked.

Time passed. The rain that was forecast for Monday evening showed up a few hours early. I hear it, and go trotting out to the lot...only to discover that both windows were closed!!!

So...I don't find any concrete mention of it here on the forum, but one member said they thought their MA had mentioned it. Do the cars with rain-sensing auto wipers have an auto up feature for the windows in case of rain?

Go with the first sentence.
There is no such thing on your car.

Seems like it'd be pretty easy to test. Roll windows down or half down, lock car and spray the windshield sensor with a hose or dump some water on it from a bucket. I doubt the car will roll up the windows.

My friends C30 with rain sensor does roll up the windows if theyre open and the car is off. I was surprised to hear people say the MINI doesn't do the same thing. I love the rain sensing wipers and it would be even sweeter if they rolled up the windows...
