I cannot seem to get the water spots off of the Hood Stripes.
I have tried white vinager and then Dawn Dishwashing soap, still there.

Any one deal with and resolve the issue without harming stripes or paint?

Good info, just way too many "Potential" fixes.
I had not concidered how many different Vinyl's are used.
it would be hard for a Mfr to have a One fix for all.
Like mentioned in one of the replies....There really isn't an inconispicuous location.
and especialy not on a "Mini" stripe is there????
I will wait a while in hopes of someone with this kind of issue on a Mini stripe to see what they use.
So if you have eliminated a spots on a stripe Please reply.

 

Mine does the same thing just with spray wax. Ill keep you posted if I find anything. If I know it was this bad to keep them clean I would have had them painted on. Probably cost about the same.
