I just ordered my 2012 Hampton, now the wait begins. How could I not name him Lionel. I previously owned a 2005 S (hatchback) for 3 1/2 years and can't wait to get back into the Mini mode. Friends think I am nuts for giving my Porsche Panamera to my wife and keeping Lionel for myself, but they don't understand.
How do track the production process? I have the order confirmation number, but not the VIN as of yet.

Congrats, I ordered my White Silver 2012 Clubman S on 8/13. Let's see who gets the Clubman first. You can track your order from miniusa.com -> Owner Resources (Lower Bottom Right Corner) -> Click Visit The Mini Owners' Lounge (It seems to be down at the moment). You need to register first using your product order number and don't worry if it says 2012 Pepper White, your color will be updated as your Clubman gets built.

Thank you for all your help, I was debating between Chili Red and White Silver until the last minute. Everything went real smooth, it took less than 1 hour for a final test drive (They had a 2011 British Green Clubman S on the lot), building, negotiating, and placing a deposit. Let's see how soon it will get here, the current status says "Scheduled for Production", I couldn't track it last week because I had no access to the internet/phone.
