Yeah I know.. absurd right? I'm just looking for an occasion to treat my Clubman.

For our one month anniversary I'm thinking of getting her the M7 Vortex 2 Scoop. I was wondering if you guys can recommend a good and cheap place to order the scoop from? Dealer here says they would put it in for ~80-95 bucks depending on how complicated the scoop is. Since I think it comes in black. I don't have to have them paint it, saving me another ~75 dollar.. Geez so many charges...

There really is not place to buy it "cheap" it costs what it costs and there really is no discounting on these types of parts. The vendors that sell these types of items all know each other and all charge the same price. One thing i did notice is that Way Motor Works and Detroit Tuned sell it for less than you can get it on ebay for.

As for the install You could do it your self very easily saving you $80 bucks. It should come with instructions and if my memory serves me correctly there is only one bolt holding it in place.

 

Thanks schatzy. Looks like I'm ordering it from way motor works. The only thing is I just moved and I have no tools. I'm also not the most handy guy. I love my clubman too much to mess up a job on her. Since I'm going to be at the dealer for them to put on my plates. I might as well have them paint it black to match my roof and have them install it.
