Can a rain sensor be added? When I ordered my mini I thought is was an unnecessary option but the more I think about it....

Well, you're giving half-hearted answers to his question. Would that be feasible or are we looking at major surgery here? Would this involve ripping out the center of the dashboard to re-reroute anything for the rain sensor?

 

Not easily and it wouldn't be worth the cost.

 

To be really accurate we would need much more info about the car itself such as

Year:
Accessories:
Packages:

This info would make it much easier to help you as in 2008-09 the wiring harness should be there but in 2010 the harness was changed and may or may not be there depending on options

Also there are modules that may or may not work such as the SLZ module and that depends on again on what other options were ordered.
