R55 Looking for some owner's reviews on the Clubman
One more try then....
I live in KC and have bought 2 MINIs from Baron, go in and ask for Liz or Aaron -either will be all the help you need or want, and both will steer you straight.
You probably don't need snow tires, depending on what you do with the car . For example, if you're going to run a lot of track events (I take a group of MINI owners to Heartland Park Topeka on a regular basis to run the track there - PM me for details if you're not already familiar with it) then you'll want a set of dedicated summer tires. if this is strictly a driver with the occasional track day like mine is, a good set of all seasons will handle pretty much anything winterish we get around here.
Insurance is reasonable, if you are. Mine runs less than $600/year from State Farm for full coverage with small deductibles, but I'm well over 25 and get all the applicable discounts like multi car, no tickets etc.
Buy a Clubman S, you'll have a ton o fun, meet lots of interesting MINI owners and take the dog(s) everywhere you go - I do.
