JCW Install Question

Does anyone know what the dealer charges for installing the JCW engine kit? I just purchased a Clubman S Rally Edition and considering this option...is it worth it?

Each dealer will charge what they seem necessary. I have seen $100 to $500. It's really based on your relationship with your service dept. Yes it’s worth it! The car will feel totally different.

The rally edition club is great looking and its only 1 per dealer right?

That sounds very reasoable...a few hundred bucks? My concern is that several people have told me my $2000 +/- would be better spent on other aftermarket products and better results can easily be achieved.
Not sure on how many per dealer but I heard only 70 units were available.

The $2000 +or- is including the parts. I believe Morristown Mini has it for $1680 plus installation..
Great choice on your car as well.
I saw a Rally edition @ Irvine Mini and one @ Universal City Mini...

Anyone got it installed at any SoCal dealers? I asked Long Beach MINI last time I went for service and they told me about $3000 installed (parts include) and that's not $500 installation per what you guys said.

Prestige MINI in Mahwah, NJ recently had a coupon for $2050 for a R56 installed and $2150 installed for a R55, if I remember correctly.

All the dealership is doing is swapping out the exhaust and airbox, doing a ECU flash and putting badges on front lower grille and on the boot.

About 3 hours is the amount of time needed.

If I can get it installed in South Florida for close to $2000 then it is definetly worth it.
