I noticed on the MINI website that extra gauges are finally available for the Clubman! Does anyone know if those can be bought from MINI and installed at home or is it only available through a dealer? BTW, will the warranty be void if you install it yourself since they are MINI-approved gauges anyway?

Go to miniusa.com. Click on Build your own Mini. Click on the Clubman or Clubman S. Skip over to step 5 in the John Cooper Works accessories. On Interior Styling: there it is: JCW Sport Gauges for $495 (). Sounds a bit steep for just two additional dials but considering how incredibly hot my car was after just a 30-minute drive in stop-and-go traffic last week, I might spring for the gauges if MINI of Dallas agrees to install them. I still plan to call them.

 

IMHO, of the three gauges they have available there is only one that is worth while, and that would be the water temp gauge. The other two are Lateral-G and Relative Torque, not useful in my opinion.
