I just ordered a new Nikon D90 camera It should be here by the end of this week.

I'll be happy to do a few practice shots and post them here.

OOOOOH, I'm so envious...The D90 looks like a great camera, especially the video feature...can't wait to see your pics!

Yeah, I am really looking forward to it. And the D90 is the first SLR camera in the market that supports 720p HD video. I need to really get on practicing taking photos with it in anticipation of our vacation trip to Alaska.

My current camera is a Canon PowerShot SD600, which is a very nice camera for its size and features, but the Nikon D90 is a whole new beast.

Oups... I understood now that I was totally wrong in January... it is not a simple pictures contest, there is also a "subject"... so I think that my January contrbution is better for February...

My Clubbie in the snow. We got about 6.5" last Friday. Even with stock 15" tires, Vera was great in the snow. Here she is about to return to the safety of the garage. I do love my garage. It's under the backyard, and connects to the basement by means of a 20' tunnel. Some call it a "bootlegger's tunnel", as the house was built in the 1920s; I just call it the Batcave.

You two have had a ton of snow! Tancred, really love your shots! And that tunnel sounds quite amazing!

Artful, very nice the way you added your name to the MINI icon. Do you have two MINIs?

Great pictures so far! We missed the January contest - and might miss February also - work has been busy and we've not seen much daylight to take good pictures - LOL!!

Aha! You are artful, now aren't you? To dream of a MINI is to eventually own one.

Hey Donna,

Your competitive juices must still be flowing from creaming everyone in the "Clubman Capture Contest." However, don't consider these monthly photo assignments to be contests...think of it more as a Photo "Potluck" to which people contribute to and everyone enjoys.

And as far as not having much daylight to shoot with...the good news is that "weather" happens every day!
