exhaust tips?

since there isnt an exhaust out yet, I want to add a little grunt to the exhaust by the way of "larger tips". I think they would look good if I could find some black tips, any ideas what size and where to get them?

Here in the UK there is a company that make an exhaust for the clubman with 4" tips, or maybe could fit the JCW system

Maybe it's possible to order the JCW tips from a dealer?

Are these 'tips' just what I think they are, as in chromed covers on your muffler's outlet?

If so, they won't change sound. You'd be better off going to a muffler shop and ordering a custom axle-back made if you wanted to do it efficiently.

You could opt for a straight-through muffler with a larger diameter piping than stock, and that would give it an aggressive sound and potentially free up power (but a downpipe is what's truly going to open up the exhaust system).

Exhuast depot was going to make a Clubman exhaust but the mule ended up bailing on them.

If anyone near Exhaust Depot can have an exhaust test fitted on their car it would bring a much more affordable exhaust to market!

yeah, I would like to get one with black tips also. Eismann (sp?) makes some black tipped ones for the E46 M3...
