I did it over 8 days - took back roads over half of the trip. According to my MA at MINI of the Hamptons, they routinely have people from the West coast buy MINIs from them and drive them back - though most do opt to have it shipped by carrier.

Was a great trip!

I prayed I didn't get t-boned by a dump truck across the street at a mass transit construction site.
Also, I wanted people to stop staring at me.
