Just wondering if anyone is using the cold bag accessory? I was thinking that this would be a super accessory to have but was wondering if it will work in the Clubman and if so does it take up too much space? Is it a permanent install or does it fold away for storage when not in use? Does it really work well enough to keep stuff cold? Is it worth the money?

Not sure if you are talking about one that Mini offers but i had one from BMW that worked well at keeping sodas, sandwiches etc cold but it would drain the battery in a couple of hours if left plug into the lighter socket while the car was not running.

A friend of mine has one that is an aftermarket design and it has circuitry in it to shut it off if the battery voltage is getting to low, so i t does not drain the battery. But his does not keep thing very cold on a hot day, but only about 10 degrees cooler than the outside temp. So if it is 90 degrees around the container then it is about 80 inside the container.
