I use this travel mug from a local coffee house, and it fits in my cupholders. It's nice and snug, so it doesn't slosh around in the bends.

i have two different mugs (one for coffee (regular house blends) days and one for tea (black tea with mint) days). both fit fine in either of the front two cupholders. i just have to remember to shift "open-palmed" when a mug is in transit or else bruised knuckles are in order (i have a very "authoritative" shift).

i have found that if the front feels a little cramped it pretty easy to move the mug to the holder right behind the driver door (technically one of the passenger cup holders).

the rear center holder is designated for leonardo, my lucky ninja turtle.

My tall stainless steel mugs are the ones I jam my fingers on when shifting to 1st or 5th gear, depending on whether I use the driver or passenger cup holder. I found a shorter mug with the same base which works perfectly. No more jammed fingers. (and that hurts!)
