I saw 3 Clubmans last night all driving and couldn't get my camera phone up fast enough.

I suck at this contest. 6 points down the drain.

 

At least you are seeing them.... I'm not EVEN having that much luck....

So true - at least you're seeing them! Many folks are not...rasputinj and I will start seeing one (hopefully) next month every day - OURS!! We're trying to capture our neighbor's new blue MCC...can't figure which neighbor it is!

 

Wow, 3 Clubmans in the wild in one night and none captured!? = (

A few suggestions...drive with your phone next to you (not in a purse or pocket)...if you have the ability, program a shortcut to your phone's camera so that you don't have to go through multiple layers in order to access it.

Yes, very nice! Just drove to LA and back to the burbs (with camera in tow)...no Clubman sightings, but TONS of MINIs.

 

1 Cooper S on the way to and from State College yesterday. It seems that no one tailgates in Clubmans - that is about to change... Did see one PW MCS it was quite nice!

 

I got my first one! Other than ones on our NYC ride.

Yep seems like in NY people with blue vans like to park around minis that way. Today I saw another blue van parked on the rear bumper of a MC.

 

Nice shot! I'm waiting for my PW/B clubman so the more I see in pictures the better.

What is everyone waiting so nicely in line for? You'd never see a line that nice here, people huddle.

It was for the show Young Frankenstein at the Hilton Ford theatre.

 

Aaah, I miss New York! Never thought I'd miss queueing up for things but I guess I miss having things worth waiting in line for! Wait, what am I talking about... I'm waiting for a MINI!

 

Wouldn't it be fun, if future MINI owners could all wait overnight in a long line in front of MINI dealerships for our MINI's? Just like the night before the iPhone comes out, or Nintendo Wii, or...those things are like giant parties. Hmmmm, I guess my wife would've had a problem with me being camped out in front of the MINI dealership for 3 months...alright, scratch that idea.

 

I am going to go ahead and take the "Dundee" for worst prepared photographer. I just saw another Clubman, this one a JCW and I didn't get a pic. This brings my total to 6 Clubmans with no pictures, compared to the two where I got pictures.

I think my problem is I spend too much time making sure its a Clubman before I get my camera ready. Or I could just be a dumb_as-s. Either way. :shrug:

 

when I went for my test drive Wed. I took some pictures of a blue clubman on the lot, so I could show my husband. so I captured one, but didn't submit it, because I was actually standing on the lot of the dealer I didn't want to seem like I was cheating. but I got a cool pic.

 

That is an AWESOME idea!!! rasputinj and I will be camping out at Las Vegas MINI until next month...now that would be sooommmmeeee party!!
