Chrome Hood Scoop Install

I need help with the install of a "stick-on" Chrome hood scoop. It seems pretty straight forward...is there anything I need to pay attention to, so that the install goes well?

Plenty here have tossed the Chrome hood scoop.
Others mentioned it melting.
And more have gone to a blackout, killing off chrome.

PREFERENCE! Yours is always right!

The de-intstall is harder!
