Some awesome Clubmans in here, because they are all int the best colour Chili Red

Can I join CRCOC please, I just bought an 08 CR/B Clubman Diesel on Monday and am picking her up this coming Monday and I cannot wait, had to get rid of my Cooper D that I had about 6 months ago and have been mini less since , until now (or Monday at least...)

I will post up pics of her when I get some taken as soon as I can.

Contagious...

New to the board here. I have been a long time admirer of the Mini, and especially the Clubman in CR.

I have a 2009 e92 M3, done up with Vorsteiner carbon fibre parts, Brembos all the way around, and Eisenmann exhaust. My best friend thinks I am nuts, as I am planning to trade it in for a Chili Red JCS Clubman.

I love the M3, but in reality, it sits in my garage in the winter and truth be told, I don't like to drive it to work that often because of a history of cars being damaged in the parking lot, which means that I feel like I own a garage queen. I love the car, but with it being lowered, it is not a good car for the winter around here.

All the times that I have driven a Clubman, I have had an ear to ear grin on my face. I am going to crunch numbers on the JCW version once the Christmas break is over and hope to see my car on this board in the near future.

Not my car, but I saw this nicely configured 2011 Clubman S while on vacation in Denver last month. From what I understand, you could factory order the black bullet wheels on a Clubbie during Sept/Oct 2011 builds

I became a new Chili Red Clubman S 2 weeks ago. No mods yet, just the factory stuff: manual, premium, carbon black/piano black interior. Hope/plan to tint and add stripes in the future.

Phone pics on day 2 in the garage:

Sounds like a nice list of things to do. I've got Eibach springs and an Alta RSB coming. Then I might dive into motor related mods. Definitely an Accesport is in the future.

A new Chili Red Clubman

It looks like this thread is still alive, so here's a new Chili Red to add to the collection. Purchased on 29 March.

Farewell...

Friends - I have immensely enjoyed three years (has it been that long already?) of having a Cooper S Clubman. Times have changed and children have grown, and we've decided to switch the Clubman for a new Countryman.

I can't thank the members of the Chili Red Club enough - and the rest of the Clubman fellowship - for all of the help, support and great comments over the last few years. You're really added to the ownership experience.

You can see the new ride here:

Guess I'll have to get a new signature badge...

Happy motoring!!

Ben

Congrats

Congratulations on the new countryman. And you got an All4. Looking forward to reading about your experience. I am in the same boat as you are. 2 kids, growing FAST , got an awesome JCW clubman , but sooner or later, i think i'll have to switch.

Congrats again. The third foto looks awesome.

Thanks Luv_My_JCW! Your Clubby looks great, especially with those 18s on there.

It was a tougher choice than I thought. When my Clubman was new, I thought I'd never sell it. Then as time went by, you "get the itch". Also, it was my first MINI experience, and I think you learn as you go, and find that the personalization is part of the experience. I was not realistically going to do much more to the Clubman, so it was exciting to start on a fresh canvas.

Cheers!

My first post here as I just purchased a Chili-Red Clubman last week. My wife and I are very happy with the car so far, this is even after reading some of the horror stories that are out there on Mini's.
It's a great car and we can tell that the PO had taken very good care of it. It has 87,000 miles on her but still runs strong. Wondering if it was a members here that traded it in? We picked it up in Hooksett NH. As we live in Northern VT it was a six hour drive.
I will try to post pics later, but right now I want to go on another ride!

Gerry
