Contagious...
New to the board here. I have been a long time admirer of the Mini, and especially the Clubman in CR.
I have a 2009 e92 M3, done up with Vorsteiner carbon fibre parts, Brembos all the way around, and Eisenmann exhaust. My best friend thinks I am nuts, as I am planning to trade it in for a Chili Red JCS Clubman.
I love the M3, but in reality, it sits in my garage in the winter and truth be told, I don't like to drive it to work that often because of a history of cars being damaged in the parking lot, which means that I feel like I own a garage queen. I love the car, but with it being lowered, it is not a good car for the winter around here.
All the times that I have driven a Clubman, I have had an ear to ear grin on my face. I am going to crunch numbers on the JCW version once the Christmas break is over and hope to see my car on this board in the near future.

Not my car, but I saw this nicely configured 2011 Clubman S while on vacation in Denver last month. From what I understand, you could factory order the black bullet wheels on a Clubbie during Sept/Oct 2011 builds
I am waiting to take delivery of my Chili Red clubman. The dealer says its been released from the port and i should be getting the call soon.. so i have been drooling over these pictures..
I am excited to be part of this club. Will post pictures once i get my clubman.
I am seeing some nice mini cartoon signatures throughout the forum. how do i go about getting my own.
thanks

I became a new Chili Red Clubman S 2 weeks ago. No mods yet, just the factory stuff: manual, premium, carbon black/piano black interior. Hope/plan to tint and add stripes in the future.

Farewell...
Friends - I have immensely enjoyed three years (has it been that long already?) of having a Cooper S Clubman. Times have changed and children have grown, and we've decided to switch the Clubman for a new Countryman.
I can't thank the members of the Chili Red Club enough - and the rest of the Clubman fellowship - for all of the help, support and great comments over the last few years. You're really added to the ownership experience.
You can see the new ride here:

Guess I'll have to get a new signature badge...
Happy motoring!!

It was a tougher choice than I thought. When my Clubman was new, I thought I'd never sell it. Then as time went by, you "get the itch". Also, it was my first MINI experience, and I think you learn as you go, and find that the personalization is part of the experience. I was not realistically going to do much more to the Clubman, so it was exciting to start on a fresh canvas.
Cheers!
Ben,
Hope all is good with you and the family. It is hard to belive its been three years. I wish you lots of luck with you new Countryman, and of course Safe mile Kilometers for you)n
Take good care,
Larry

My first post here as I just purchased a Chili-Red Clubman last week. My wife and I are very happy with the car so far, this is even after reading some of the horror stories that are out there on Mini's.
It's a great car and we can tell that the PO had taken very good care of it. It has 87,000 miles on her but still runs strong. Wondering if it was a members here that traded it in? We picked it up in Hooksett NH. As we live in Northern VT it was a six hour drive.
I will try to post pics later, but right now I want to go on another ride!
