I'll be joining sometime in (very?) early 2010...

 

Guilty as charged... It was a busy summer with our local club, but things have slowed down a bit with the turning of the seasons.

Just came back from our local club's "Stuff-A-Mini" event. Our club works with the local dealer and the YWCA each year for several events. This particular event is a 4-week campaign upto Christmas where we try to "stuff" Minis full of toys and other needed items for a Womens' shelter. We then drive as a caravan to the facility a week before Christmas to deliver all of the donated items.

Good to hear things. That is a very cool thing to do for the womens shelter.

I havent really done to much lately. I drove up to NYC last month for a wedding in Central Park. Tha was a blast. The couple who were married were friends of mine from when I lived in the Netherlands. I still have no idea why they came to the sates for their wedding.

Glad to you your still around. I hope all is good. How is your Clubman doing? Mine is still running strong, not driving as much anymore, I havent worked in almost a year, so I have only just hit 34k miles. Hoping to start a new job in the next week or so. Tommorow being Superbowl Sunday, it seems like everyone is driving in South Florida, so I will take a berak for a day or so.

My Clubby is running great. I did manage to bend a wheel while negotiating our winter climes up here though. I didn't know/realize you hadn't been working that long - hopefully that was by choice rather than any other reason. Either way, I hope your new venture pans out!!

Hey! What's happening Chili Red people?!?!?

My car has developed a humming sound/vibration when turning in one direction (detailed in the thread below).

No pics to post, but I'll be back soon with some . . . at least as soon as the thrill has diminished a bit - (one weak owner) - yes I spelled that right!

 

Count me in , my 2009 MCS Red/black roof is on its way , should have it a week or so.
