Thanks for the nod to Memphis & the blues

CR&PW&JB,

Thanks for the nod to Memphis and the music it made famous.

Beale Street often plays host to groups that gather here for conventions, meetings, etc...

How 'bout a MINI gathering here? MINIs lining Beale Street from one end to the other, parked, and partying.

If the Harley riders can do it, why not us?

Bruiser can lead the way.

Some other possibilities:

Midnight

Memphis

Ballou

B.B.

Stones

If you need help with the logic behind any of those, let me know... a couple of them are a reach but all good names for a Blue/Black MINI.

Introducing "Bruiser" in my sig. The only thing that's different is that I have black pillars. Found out earlier this week that it is in the production stage, complete with VIN#!

Hi Goodwood.

2006 Mini Takes The States,we all filled Beal street with our minis. Had a blast. It would be fun to do it again. I'll see if I can find some of the pics
and post them.

1x vote for Bruiser btw.
Funny, I was going to call mine Wilbur too, after the Wilbur Bud, a local chocolate delicacy, but I saw your name, so now it is going to be "Wilbur Bud". It is an apt name: the Wilbur bud is slightly larger than a Hershey Kiss, like the Clubman to the Cooper.

just clicked on the link to MINI Takes The States from the NAM home page... that first photo that pops up on the MINIUSA.com site about this event is from Beale Street, I'm quite sure....

had no idea you guys (us guys?) had been here before... I'll bet it was fun.

I vote for Gianni, no Paulo, no Ernest, or Ernst... Maybe Jackie, or Robert... Perhaps Junior, or Thibault, plain Harry, Malcolm, Francis, Adelaide, Martha, Suzy, Bam Bam, Jenna, Jonesy, Gerrold, not Bruiser (unless you drive in the smash-up derby).

I named my car "Mini Cooper S Clubman"

THE PUCK BUS

OKAY, SO I PURCHASED MY MCCS BECAUSE MY OTHER CAR IS A

2000, LIFTED, 4X4, TURBO DESIEL, LMTD FOR EXCURSION. NEED I SAY MORE? WHEN I HAD TO PAY $230 TO FILL 'ER UP, IT WAS TIME TO PARK 'ER FOR A WHILE.

SO, I AM A TAXI MOM & COMING UP ON MY 40TH NEEDED SOMETHING FUN TO DRIVE. THE KIDS LOVE THE NEW MINI AND WE NAMED IT

THE PUCK BUS. OUR PERSONALIZE PLATE IS ON IT'S WAY.

MY MIDDLE SON PLAYS ICE HOCKEY, IN SOUTHER CALIFORNIA... OUR PUCK BUS CAN FIT 3 KIDS, 2 HOCKEY BAGS & ME AND IT'S NOT COSTING ME $1000 A MONTH TO FILL BUT I DO FEEL A LITTLE, WELL, LITTLE.
