"Clubman" designator?

I can't find anywhere on my Clubman that it says "Clubman" - I thought it was supposed to say it inside, on the doorsills, but no . Maybe it's because it's an "S"??
I've ordered the "CLUBMAN" lettering kit from out motoring (over a month ago - STILL WAITING ) and plan on replacing the "Cooper" on the back door, IF I ever get it.

Actually, it does say it, albeit in very tiny block letters, on the inner passenger-side silver door sill, nearer the "club" door (practically need glasses to see it ). At least, on mine it's there. Also, on the "Clubman" specific carpet floor mats, if you got those.

IMO, there should be more, but I heard they were trying not to focus on it as a completely different model.

The barn doors, the rear Halo, and the club door were my first clues.

MINI views 'clubman' as just a body style designation. The name of the car is MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S...the clubman just designates the longer bodystyle. Much like the MINI Cabriolet doesn't have any Cabriolet badging, they left off the Clubman as well.

Another example being the A4 Avant (wagon)....it's badged all over as an A4 and has no Avant logos etc....they just refer to it as an Avant to designate the longer bodystyle.

Someone in Florida took off the "Cooper" badge and added "Clubman" in the back:

WooHoo!!

Someone in Florida took off the "Cooper" badge and added "Clubman" in the back:

That's what I've got ordered...
PLUS, THIS JUST IN...
I will soon be receiving my Georgia Vanity Plates - "CLUBMAN"
I was really surprised no one had taken that yet...

don't mean any offense to anyone, but i never understood the redundancy of having a license plate with the exact make or model of your car ... its already on the back of the car

I really enjoy everyone's "vanity" plates. I prefer to think of them as "personalized" plates - and often they're very witty. Here in NY state, not only does one have to pay for the first personalization but then every year one must pay the state another fee..and this is just for a generic style personalized plate - God forbid you wanted to go with something altruistic like a personalized plate with a worthy cause such as the environment, or breast cancer or even donating one's body to science if one should die - these more with a higher annual re-up. If I thought the money would actually benefit the causes, I might consider it...but I find it highly suspect http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/org.htm I guess I'm a jaded penny pincher - though I am very tempted.

I was so annoyed I posted twice apparently.

i really enjoy them as well ... heck, I even had one about 15 years ago, but like them when they are creative or have a personal meaning behind them.
I cringe when I see ones like "BMW M3" ... unless its on a '76 Buick

Way to go Thulewx! Of course, I understand why some folks don't understand it when people put on their license plate the same name that the manufacturer put on the back of the car, and I definitely understand why people put the name of the model when the manufacturer didn't put the name there.

And I'm always happy to support anyone's choice of plate, personalized or not, regardless of my personal view, if their choice makes them happy, which is what Mini's are all about.

I am curious though, now that you've scored the Clubman plate, are you still going to put the chrome clubman lettering on the back of the car?

Maybe some day we can start a multi-state Clubman Plate Owners Club and get a logo. Whatta ya think?

Well, the clubman letters are coming, supposedly , but I have been re-thinking their placement... so, not sure what I'll do - maybe join them and make a keyring?
