Hawaii DMV refers to them as a "sports wagon"

 

When I obtained the title for my new Clubman S and the tag for it at the DMV last week, they did not have the clubman in their computer so she had to call the state DMV.

Then I really blew her mind when she asked how many doors it had, and I told her three! She at first did not believe me. Finally had to settle with the title, "station wagon".

 

OH NO, did your Clubman lose a couple of doors? Heehee. It's technically a 5-door ... two front doors, two rear cargo doors and the passenger side "club-door".

 

When I registered my car, the lady at City Hall asked me if it was a two-door. I didn't want to get technical with explaining that it had 5 doors in three different sizes, so I just said "sure".
