Six miles on the odometer sounds pretty safe. My MCS had four when they were unwrapping it. If you asked the dealer, they should tell you about VDC repairs. They don't often volunteer them, but I doubt they would lie about it.

IIRC, in California the law requires a full refund of the deposit. You might want to look up the law online if you have any trouble getting it back.

 

Congratulations fellow Clubby owner! It is a great car. More like a friend than a car. I am amazed at the little touches BMW does to their cars that make these the best out there.
You may grow to like the sunroof, at least for evening use to see the stars. I didn't want one, but with the deal you got I think you made the right decision.

My first MINI was a dealer demo with 250 miles on it. I am sure it was beaten up in test drives, but I never had a major issue with it for the 50K miles I've owned it.
