Thanks! I got them from my dealer. I think they were $150. I looked around online and that seemed to be the going rate since you have to buy the carriers. The stock carriers don't work.
They're listed in the "exterior styling" tab in one of the final steps on the MINIUSA configurator.

jbcola - great shots, again! And elegantmini, if I missed submitting my compliments to you, forgive me, because you've got a beautiful Clubman and the lighting brings out the best in that Dark Silver.

edjd, thought i would add about the side scuttles, very simple to install. installed a pair of checkered scuttles to my clubman. maybe too easy, just apply pressure towards front and remove light bulb clip.

jbcola - I know yours is that beauty of a Sparkling Silver. Perhaps it was my run on sentence style that added to the confusion...where in I was attempting to compliment elegantmini on his Dark Silver...only to realize that it wasn't his at all but ephotodfw's!

Keep these photos coming everyone!

If any member would like to see larger shots of both my MINI 2006 and the new one, just go to my web site. The link is listed below. I no longer have my 2006 Cooper S, because I bought a new Mini in March of this year, and I regret selling the old one. I miss it, but it was not practical for me to own 2 cars living in an apartment complex. I might buy a new Mini next year for the 50th anniversary.
Thanks.

Lurch,

Do you remember where in Brooklyn you took the photo. I was born and raised ther, but haven't been back there in many years.

Many Thanx,

Larry

@Larry ... that's Utica Avenue near Flatbush Avenue.

@OTRA ... LOL ... the funny thing was, a big burly contractor type with a bunch of tools was driving the SMART.

I've been there, or darn close. When I was younger of course.

When my mom was growing up she lived in Bensonhurst and Bedford Stuyvesand (sp), and and my sister lived in the Bay Ridge area just off the bridge. I miss the city! What a great place!

Joep, if Lurch ever takes on the challenge of organizing another Sunrise Run in Manhattan - you really must come up! To add to your nostalgia, check out this thread http://nemini.org/index.php?topic=11137.0 start on page 20 and scroll your way through looking for hyperlinks to various photo links of The Big Apple.

Otra, I'm going to have to check this out when I get home. Thanks!!!

Sunday night I was glued to the TV watching my beloved (yet hapless) Yankees close out The Stadium. I've been to both versions of the stadium and I'm really gonna miss the old place. I wish I was up there. And it's a great time of the year!
