I just picked it up this afternoon, so these are just the quick pictures I snapped in the driveway before I hopped back in to take it for another spin!

Thanks! Yeah, I got it at MINI of Peabody. They were great the whole way through. I drive through Stoneham every day, so be sure to wave if you see me motoring around!

Here is a pic of our new MCS Clubman. We had all the bottom plastic trim painted along with the calipers, headlamp rings, and rear license plate backing.

I like that. Any idea how well the paint will hold up on the plastic parts? For example, if a rock hits the bottom trim, is the paint likely to chip off?

LynnE, the painted arches hold up very well as long as the plastic is prepped correctly bofore they are painted. There is a lot of time and work involved when prepping the plastic. After being prepped, they are coated with a flex agent so the paint will adhere to the plastic without flaking off. The guy who did my Clubman has done numourous MINIs in the Orlando area. His name is Luis at Glimpse Auto. He and his son do all the work there. Some of the other guys in our Sunshine MINIs club have had there arches painted by him and it's been about 3 or 4 years and the paint is still holding very nicely. If the trim is not prepped well, then yes, the paint is subject to damage a lot easier.

Here is a look at the back painted trim.
Click link! Sorry, I'm new at this photo thing and I'm having a problem on getting my pics to actual thread.
