Sure! I have run 15", 16", 17", and 18" wheels. Each has different advantages. The wife said that I am about wheels the way women are about shoes!

The Konig Rewind setup is for a trip to the Badlands of South Dakota for 6 months this summer. We want to explore some of the side roads, and looking at my maps, there are a lot of gravel roads in the best places. So, not having any first hand experience with the roads there, I am leaning toward the conservative tire setup.

Notice that we have two Clubman vehicles. The one in front is the 4wd prototype.

 

Great shots - and sounds like an interesting trip you've got planned, too!

Too bad Mellow Yellow is not available in the Clubman S.

So are you still getting the roof and rear bits painted orange?

 

Yep! I love the Mellow Yellow now that they've darkened it up a bit (always seemed too pale and pastel-ish on the R50/53). Would've ordered a MY/B Clubman S in a heartbeat if that were an option (and named it Bumblebee).

Guess Chili Red/Black will have to do. Hmm. Maybe I'll name my Clubman "Cliffjumper".

It was order Mellow Yellow, or a turbo, and you have to have your priorities!

Yes, we are still planning on the Swamp Holly Orange for the top, mirrors, and halo. As we are leaving for 6 months in SD, we are going to defer the paint until we are back in the West. I think the Clubbie will be enough bling by itself in Cowboy country.

the BRG does have a great sparkle in that second shot.

 

You're right - I thought it was my old car, but it was another Clubman - thus my edited post. Too bad it was not what I thought - my husband took the shot as I was sitting inside the BRG with Fabrizio. We could pretend it was my old MINI, couldn't we?
