Finally added some stripes to my Clubbie. Been thinking about it for a while now. They're reflective black that reflects gold at night. The MINI logo is white reflective reflects white. I'm really wanting to add a 1/4" color stripe above and below the stripe but I can't figure out a color. Was thinking lime green, but that really didn't work. Y'all have any ideas?

I was looking forward to building a White Silver Clubman on the MINI website but it wasn't giving me the option a couple weeks ago and it's not giving me the option now. Nice to know it's available; now to figure out how to get it with the green leather...

 

yeah thats weird about the configurator which remains pretty buggy.
i only found the White Silver stuff in the complete options masterlist, where it shows up as the White Silver Package, which of course is $1750 in aesthetics...not bad if you like the package, but if you are spec'ng your own build in detail, you may not want to go that route.

 

Yes I noticed that too, I ordered mine back in August and once they updated the Configurator I couldn't config one with WS, I also couldn't add JCW tuning kit with Auto Transmission...

Hey everyone, it's been just over a year and 1/2 since i last posted here, but it's good to see everyone still around!!!
So, a few weeks ago a decided to victimize Chancho. The supplies arrived Wednesday, so i decided to start the task Saturday around 430pm. sorry for the quality of the pics, iphone. i'll post better ones soon.

Sunday at 230pm, the finished product!!! Plan on doing the arches next weekend. Cant wait!!





what was done:
masked everything, took about 30 minutes.
3 coats of primer, aerosol spray can x 3, Pep Boys
3 coats of BMW 900 Pure Silver, aerosol spray can x 2 ExpressPaint.com
4 coats of clear coat, aerosol spray can x 2, Pep Boys
