Switched out the JCW R105's and went w/ Ti Model RE 18"x8" w/ 40mm offset. I had to remove my front spacers, but they definitely give me a nice, wider stance!

My good friend Mark (OrangeCrush) is telling me I now need to go with an orange roof, but I think I;m going to have to let this sink in for awhile before I consider that.

Definitely won't lose it in a parking lot now.

 

wow, that is bold! the orange roof might be a bit much. i like the orange accents on the belt line.

lonestarbuzz, enjoy your Metroplex motoring! In the last couple of weeks I've found that the Mini is just the right size for getting by on the shoulder when traffic is backed up on 635. Or 121. Or 114.

Greg, do the orange roof! With all the orange accents, I think maybe the beltline would look sweet in chocolate or black.

Yeah, I told him that if I DID do it, it would be a wrap. Not sure how many people would be interested in a car w/ an orange roof when the day comes to get rid of it.

I'm just afraid that with the high sides of the Clubbie roof, it would look too overdone(?). I'm just going to let things settle down for awhile.

I'm trying to get my Land Rover project done and this car has been a HUGE distraction for me.

Spent the afternoon on some serious cosmetic communing with the Clubman. Banished SWMBO's Fiesta from the garage (for a day) so I can drive it at least once without a full coating of dew and crap.

Greg, FWIW, I'd leave the roof black. Orange would be bold, but I think it would take away from the impact of the wheels and other accents. Maybe you could get someone on here to photoshop in an orange roof for you to look at to help decide.

If you have an Android phone you can upload pictures to Picasa (download Picasa Tool app for free). Once pics are saved in album in Picasa you select picture and hit "more options" button at bottom of screen, then select "copy web link". Paste the web link into box under "insert image" when you reply to a thread. Good luck and welcome to the club.

 

I have had these wheels for over 6 month's i really did not know what they would look like on my HOT COCO. But now that they are on i think i like them... now i just need the drop.....

Howdy, would love to add my new Hot Chocolate Clubbie to the club. Love the colour, and was pretty cool today when another Hot Chocolate Clubbie passed me and gave a honk on the horn!

 

Today i got the springs put on and i must say i like.... H-SPORT SPRINGS AND 18X7 Centerline wheels
